Lovie Hat

Our boy continues to grow! In less than 3 months he is going to the 2!!!!!!!!!! I can hardly believe it! It seems like yesterday I was pregnant. Time goes by way too fast. He is taller, smarter and has more hair everyday!

Today, I am at home with a sick little man:( I think he caught a bug or something. He just isn't feeling himself. We have snuggled and watched cartoons all morning, so that's ok with Mommy! Everyone is probably sick because St. Louis goes from 60 degrees to 20 degrees every other day! I wish the weather would just make up it's mind. I honestly can't wait for warmer weather to be here to stay!

An update on Colton's busy life....
His new thing this week is to close all the doors he possibly can (I guess he has figured out he can reach them and do that now), he will tell you a story...with full sentences (If only we could understand what in the world he was telling us), his new thing is he closes his eyes when he is talking to you (quite cute), he wants everyone to wear a hat (and his hat is usually a lovie on his head...it's adorable) and he has become the worlds PICKIEST eater! Actually he eats for everyone else, just not here at home! Hopefully this is just a stage. I don't know if I can handle another picky eater. Dan and I aren't the worlds most adventurous eaters.

Snow Day

Today was a snow day! This year I am NOT wishing for them. May 17th sounds too good to waste days in January and February. The little man has been very wild today. I think we have messed with his schedule too much lately. He just got back into a routine since Christmas break.

Colton has been very active lately. He vocabulary has gone through the roof. He is putting together whole sentences. This morning he told me "Mama, help me get drink"! What a smart boy. As of now, he can basically repeats any word you ask him to. I have even been showing him letters on his magna doodle and we have been working on saying them. I guess that's the teacher in me:) He also continues to grow. We swear he is taller everyday! I hope he gets his dad's height!!

January is somewhat of a calm month for us. Finally! After a crazy holiday season sometimes it's nice to slow down. We have just been spending our weekends being lazy at home and going out with friends. It's nice. My graduate classes started back up last night. I only have 3 more classes after this one! I will be done in August!!! Thank goodness. I can't wait to be done, and lets face it, have the pay increase!!!

Happy New Year!!

2011 was quite a ride for the Price family! Here are some of the happenings and things we are thankful for:

• Colton's first steps and first words! Now we can't get him to sit still or be quite:)
• We got to celebrate Colton's first birthday!
• Dan and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary.
• We got to be a part of lots of weddings...Dave and Aubrey in April, Scott and Stevie in September and Courtney and Adam in November! We are so happy for all of them!!
• Dan and I are blessed to continue our careers at Express Scripts and teaching.

Most of all, we slowed down and enjoyed time as a family! Colton was so adventurous this summer and we enjoyed all our field trips with him!

We hope 2012 bring us much happiness and joy as 2011 did! We are looking forward to: celebrating our little man's second birthday, me graduating with my masters!!, and hopefully a family vacation!!  :)

This week off has been relaxing and hopefully has recharged us to get us through till summer! We are counting down until then!!!
