The Start of Summer

School has officially been out for one week! We are soaking up every bit of it!! I love summer time. It is even better now that Colton is old enough to understand we get to stay home and to go out and do things.

Our first summer project was a big boy bed! He has done absolutely amazing! He doesn't get out. He knows to call Mom or Dad if he needs something. We are still working on not standing on the bed :) But we will take the good sleeping habits!!

We took our first trip to the lake this summer! He was in love! We couldn't keep him out of the water or off the dock! Glad he loved it because Mom and Dad sure love to go! Such a fun weekend with the family.

And for the most exciting news this week.....WE LEAVE FOR DISNEY IN 5 DAYS!!!! We are so excited. We have been telling Colon that he is going to see Mickey this weekend. Now everything we see "Mickey" he gets so excited!!! I will be sure to post tons of Disney pictures when we return. I will be busy packing this week!! So excited!!!

Birthdays!!

I am a little behind but we have had lots of birthdays in the last few weeks. First.....

OUR BABY TURNED 2!!!!!!!!!!!!! We can hardly believe he is 2 already!! He is definitely a little man now, with LOTS of opinions about everything. Some things that his is doing now are:

- He loves pancakes and sausage for breakfast. Asks for it almost daily.
- He has the best manners. Says please and thank you to everyone.
- Always says "Bless You" when someone sneezes...it's so cute.
- He is counting....sort of:) Knows the numbers, we are working on actually counting.
- He still has and loves his Mizzou Lovies
- He will play outside from sun up to sun down if we let him.
- He is certainly not a picky eater. But the boy does love his fruits! Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, you name it!
- He has to have 2 books, 2 lovies and his monkey to go to bed each night. He usually reads for a little bit in his bed.
- He is STILL infatuated with lights. Always wants to turn every ones on.
- He is very neat and organized. A great cleaner, everything has a spot.
- He sets the table for dinner....it is so cute!
- He repeats EVERY word out of our mouths! It is amazing!!!


These are just a few things that I want to remember as he gets bigger! He is so fun and can't wait to play all summer long with him.

For his birthday we got him a play kitchen! He is in love. He also got tons of clothes, a workbench, basketball hoop, and lots of outdoor water stuff!! Thanks to everyone who spoils our baby!!
